Curriculum Vitae

Joanne Southcombe, BSc, MscD, has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science from Columbia Pacific University and a Doctorate Degree in Metaphysical Science from the University of Metaphysics.   She has been practising as a counsellor and psychotherapist in Australia and Canada for the past 18 years.  

Joanne specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, eating disorders, low self-esteem, and trauma-spectrum disorders.   She passionately believes in an integrative approach to therapy and recognizes that in order to truly heal, one must heal the spirit as well as the mind and body.   She creates a safe and unbiased environment for her clients.

Dr Southcombe also regularly facilitates personal development workshops and is a faculty member at Victoria's Pacific Rim College, teaching Integrative Counselling for practitioners and students.
